Having grown up in the area, founders Tim Ripman and Tim Cook wanted to showcase the best holiday rentals Suffolk has to offer, while staying committed to their values of sustainability and high-level customer service.

A clean and contemporary site that reflects Curious Retreats’ commitment to quality service and an individual touch. With added SuperControl API integration to create a fluid booking experience and boost conversions.
With their detailed brand guidelines in mind, we combined a variety of neutral, muted tones with Curious’ signature Cobalt Blue. Background colours fluctuate between off-white and soft beige hues, adding warmth and further dimension to each page.
Call to Actions are easy to see and stand out without detracting from important text and imagery, making for an easier browsing experience.
Both serif and sans-serif typefaces are combined to create engaging titles, reflecting Curious Retreats’ individuality and personal style.
They also have the option to showcase their hero images and videos in full width banners, making the most of their visuals.
As well as integrating SuperControl API for real time property information, keeping customers up to date with all the latest property information, we also integrated our custom cashing system, for a better user experience, increasing conversions and speeding up bookings.
With their new blog system, Curious Retreats can further inform their customers, with local insights and helpful tips to have an even more exciting holiday.
Customers are further supported by way of an Online Chat feature, meaning help and advice is easy to access no matter what page you’re on.
Curious Retreats are committed to providing customers with as much detailed property information as possible.
Each property page contains a variety of sections, with dedicated feature dropdowns, an engaging gallery, booking calendar and a handy integrated map so customers can explore the local area and amenities.
For a personal touch, each property page also includes a section on the property’s owner, providing further peace of mind and insight.
We also integrated a review section into each property page, a great way for customers to learn more about a property, from like-minded people.
In a world where social media dominates, having multiple online presences is important for a brand.
For this reason we decided to integrate Curious’ instagram feed at the foot of each page, a sure way to grow their audience and increase engagement and dwell time.
