Based in the stunning Cambrian countryside, the Yamaha Off-Road experience offers a mud-fuelled day out to remember. Established in 1994, Yamaha welcomes all experience levels, from new riders to motocross enthusiasts.
Set up by British enduro champion, Geraint Jones, a day at Yamaha entails winding up rocky paths, passing through rivers and riding across miles of stunning woodlands, moors and farmlands. Their vast coverage region comprises over ten thousand acres of different terrains. Making for an exciting yet visually stunning journey through the heart of wales. Despite its range of terrain, the experienced staff at Yamaha make sure each trip suits the ability of the rider. Giving participants a taste of adrenaline whilst in the safety of professionals.
Our long-standing relationship with Yamaha Off-Road started in 2015 when we developed their first website. Since its launch, they’ve been growing steadily and now they want to support that growth with a brand new website. We were tasked with creating a site that expressed its vibrant energy in a bright, modern design. Engaging site visitors with fantastic functionality and intuitive navigation. As well as providing them with a platform for customers to book online and purchase gift vouchers.

As soon as visitors land on the homepage, they get a sense of what the company is all about. Covering the entire homepage is a range of high-definition images of riders in different terrains. The images transition seamlessly into one another, showcasing the thrill of Yamaha Off-Road in a stylish layout.
Additionally, to keep their brand identity cohesive across all platforms, we balanced their white, black and red colour scheme throughout the site layout. The white space enhances readability, and the red has been used to draw attention to the key call to actions. Driving customers to continue on to new website pages and convert. For example, ‘Book now’, ‘Buy now’, ‘Subscribe now’ & ‘More information.
Additionally, the call to actions change colour with a sleek effect as users hover over them. Adding another subtle but stylish element to the website.

The homepage was designed with a clean block structure that is great for usability. Separating each block of information in a way that’s easy on the eye and professional. Despite being in ‘blocks,’ each section’s styling changes to keep site visitors engaged. For example, showcasing the range of courses available on a moving slider. As well as overlapping imagery and ultra-fine lines to further create a structured look.
On the other hand, we also implemented a pop-out side-bar menu. Divided into two sections: An image menu, with images that expand when you hover over them. As well as a hamburger menu. The split menu breaks up the menu better to make it more visually appealing than just a list of page names.

The client requested that users would be able to purchase the outdoor experiences as gift vouchers for family and friends. To accomplish this, we used the Gift Cards Pro WooCommerce plugin. Allowing users to buy and send virtual gift cards. Where the recipient can then redeem it on a date that is convenient for them.

Furthermore, we also implemented an Events Management plugin for Yamaha Off-Road. This allows users to book themselves an adventure on a chosen date. Updated in real-time, users can see exactly how many spaces are left per adventure.
Additionally, the events management plugin is made easy to use for admin. Yamaha Off-Road can now add new adventure dates, accept bookings and manage attendees all in one place.

Their new website contains a plethora of pages designed to assist customers. On a devoted gallery page, visitors can browse through a wide selection of images per course.
As well as this, there is a ‘things to do a page’ that gives customers a wealth of information on the surrounding areas. Backed with clickable links people can discover what else Mid Wales has to offer. In addition, an informative FAQs page supports any customer queries.
