Montgomery Young Farmers Club (YFC) was launched in 1938, helping young people living in the countryside with additional life skills, experiences and providing a social platform. This charity has grown from strength to strength, offering young people aged between 10-26 even more opportunities and experiences. As the organisation has grown so has what they offer.
Montgomery YFC came to gloversure for an intuitive, mobile responsive website. Their team can now easily showcase up-and-coming events, promote and sell merchandise, and share news and updates with the wider community. The website design needed to be inviting for members, the community, to encourage new members and sponsors.

An easy-to-navigate bespoke WooCommerce WordPress website. As well as showcasing Montgomery YFC, the website now adds to their brand identity. In addition to the core functionality, the site also needed to be bilingual. We configured the WPML plugin so that they can easily add their content in both English and Welsh.
The site also needed to incorporate a shop, vouchers, and events area to maximise these areas of the charity. The website now gives users access to book tickets for events, enquire about membership, and even purchase merchandise.

Crafted on WordPress’ eCommerce Solution, WooCommerce, Montgomery YFC can now easily update the website keeping content fresh. WooCommerce is an intuitive and user-friendly way to sell products. They can now sell branded merchandise through the website, raising funds while reducing admin time. They needed the website to showcase the vast variety of events and allow users to purchase tickets directly through the website. Using Foo Events they can now easily manage the events calendar and sell an unlimited number of branded tickets for events without having to pay any fees or commission.

Amongst the custom features is the image gallery. With the use of Modula Gallery, they can now easily upload photos and videos to any page they like without slowing the page speed down. Modula is a multi-purpose plugin that allows the user to create different gallery types, including Creative Gallery, Custom Grid, and Columns.
