High end holiday let web design for Obstgarten Homes

With an unwavering passion for restoring heritage properties, Obstgarten Homes have been transforming tired and forgotten abodes since 1996. Alongside their commitment to quality renovations, Obstgarten’s range of beautiful properties has gradually expanded, with locations in the UK and abroad. Looking to showcase their portfolio and expand their digital presence, they partnered with us, in need of a bespoke holiday let web design that defined their business.

Sparking interest with a bespoke holding page

Before commencing with a brand new website design, Obstgarten Homes were in need of a sleek holding page that generated interest, whilst we designed and developed their main website concept. With an emphasis on showcasing beautiful property photography, the holding page design features only essential information, like featured properties as well as their story. Furthermore, an email sign up section ensures that potential guests are kept up to date.

Consistent holiday let web design with cohesive brand colours

For Obstgarten Homes, establishing their brand across their new website design was key. With their passion for heritage properties, we developed a unique colour scheme to be used sparingly across each page as well as on their menu. The properties section features a tailored colour for each home, that changes as you drag between each location, therefore reflecting their individual style and history.

Given the travel industry’s increasingly competitive nature, we knew Obstgarten Homes needed a website design that truly stood out and performed. Therefore, we designed each section to emulate the minimalist grid designs seen in luxury lifestyle publications. Fully showcasing Obstgarten’s full range of stunning imagery.

Starting with a sleek holding page to generate interest, the full website features a cohesive brand identity with tailored colours, editorial-inspired layouts, and subtle animations to enhance user experience.

Dynamic holiday let web design with sleek animation

In addition to a modern, high end design, we added subtle, yet impactful animations that trigger as users navigate the site. From text that masks into view as guests read each section of content to smooth image animations that create a more dimensional finish, the final result directly reflects Obstgarten Homes’ passion for high quality.

Engaging content with an integrated blog system

Keeping guests informed with insightful content was important to the Obstgarten Homes team. Therefore, we integrated a slick blog system, accessed from the homepage that gives guests exclusive behind the scenes access to all things Obstgarten. Team members can easily add new posts via WordPress admin, keeping content fresh and accessible.

Intuitive navigation with a full page menu

In keeping with consistent holiday let web design, we also developed a bespoke full page menu. Tailored to match Obstgarten Homes’ new heritage colour scheme, each word triggers a new colour and image transition when hovered over. What’s more, when users access the menu, each section slides into view seamlessly, adding dimension and depth to the design.
