Greta-Mae Cabins
Greta-Mae Cabins, an esteemed interior design studio nestled in Mid-Wales, sought to translate the serene luxury of their Nordic-inspired cabins into an immersive online experience. Discover how they partnered with our team to craft a website that seamlessly integrates Scandinavian design principles while enhancing readability and user engagement.
Crafting a Visual Narrative
Greta-Mae Cabins' website serves as a virtual window into the tranquil haven they offer. Through meticulously curated imagery and a user-friendly layout, visitors embark on a visual journey, experiencing the allure of these idyllic retreats. From mosaic galleries showcasing room highlights to automatic sliding galleries unveiling the cabin's charm, every detail entices exploration.

Showcasing Greta-Mae's aesthetic cabins
Incorporating the essence of Scandinavian design, the website adopts a minimalist aesthetic characterised by clean lines and a serene colour palette. Soft hues of off-white and light beige evoke a sense of calm, while subtle foliage motifs pay homage to the cabins' woodland surroundings. This simplicity extends to typography, blending traditional and modern fonts for a harmonious visual appeal.
Services & Technology
We employed Scandinavian design principles, focusing on minimalist aesthetics and natural elements, while ensuring an intuitive, responsive user experience. Using a flexible content management system (CMS), we enabled the Greta-Mae team to easily manage their content, and integrated SEO best practices for visibility.

Interactive Elements and CTAs
Interactive elements such as styled arrow buttons and smooth animations guide users seamlessly through the website, enhancing navigation and engagement. Thoughtfully placed call-to-action prompts, like 'Book A Stay,' capture attention and encourage action, ensuring a frictionless booking process.

User-Centric Design
Prioritising user experience, the website features a structured layout with sharp-edged borders. Facilitating easy navigation and readability. A fine-lined hamburger menu simplifies browsing, while the uncluttered design echoes the spaciousness of the cabins. Fostering a sense of tranquillity.
Functionality and Seamless Experience
True to Nordic minimalism's emphasis on functionality, the website prioritises utility without sacrificing aesthetics. The streamlined booking process and integrated contact page with a user-friendly form and embedded map ensure a seamless experience for guests. Mirroring the effortless elegance of Greta-Mae Cabins' offerings.

Engaging users with an attractive, structured layout
Nordic minimalism prides itself on favouring functionality over form. We embodied this principle; creating a wholly utilitarian flowing website. We used a hamburger menu to navigate users around the website. As it pops out, the content on the page behind it becomes ‘blurred’, a muted approach to design that makes the pages easier to read.
Similarly, the booking process cuts out superfluous features and provides users with a unified, seamless experience that feels natural and frictionless. Additionally, guests can easily contact the team at Great-Mae using their contact page, fitted with a contact form. As well as this, the contact page has an embedded map to help guests locate the cabin easily.

“ I was recommended to gloversure by a friend of mine who had also used them when she was in need of a new website for her holiday let business. I couldn’t have been happier with the level of service, the friendliness, and the professionalism of the team. The team held my hand through the whole process and were always there when I asked the silliest of questions. I am very happy with the finished product and wouldn’t hesitate to endorse them to anyone else who needs a new website”
