Signature Website Design for Wedding & Event Venues

Capesthorne Hall, built between 1719 and 1732 on 100 acres of picturesque Cheshire countryside, remains a stunning example of Jacobean-style architecture. Complemented by formal gardens, wildlife, lakes, and Milanese gates, it is now a sought-after venue for weddings, events, and filming for shows like Coronation Street.

The Capesthorne Hall team approached us for a new logo, brand guidelines, brochures, and a website redesign. From our first discovery call, we knew we had the opportunity to create a stunning new identity for this historic venue.

A Modern Twist on Tradition: Capesthorne Hall's Rebrand & Web Design

We delivered a contemporary brand identity that exudes elegance, charm, and class. This identity is meticulously expressed through a stunning WordPress website and robust brand guidelines, positioning Capesthorne Hall as an exclusive, luxury venue.

Creating a Unique and Sophisticated Identity

Our goal was to showcase Capesthorne Hall's grandeur with a minimal, light aesthetic. Using Adobe software and fine art influences, we hand-drew the logo in a delicate style. We customised a standard font with added glyphs to create a unique, curvaceous typeface for Capesthorne Hall, reflecting their high-end services.

Comprehensive Brand Guidelines

We crafted in-depth brand guidelines to ensure consistency in Capesthorne Hall's new identity. These guidelines cover logo usage, spacing, colorways, font guidelines, imagery, and print marketing. The brochure was styled with muted tones and clean lines, making the guidelines the focal point.

Wedding & Accommodation Brochures

To highlight Capesthorne's wedding services, we created bespoke brochures for weddings and accommodations, detailing what couples can expect. The design aligns with the new branding, featuring muted tones and hand-drawn petals from the website design. The layouts balance text and images, ensuring readability and easy access to crucial information like dates and prices.

We developed a stunning, UX-driven website flourished in their new identity

Their new website was built on WordPress, a powerful platform that gives the Capesthorne team flexibility. Capesthorne Hall's new website offers an intuitive platform for content management and future development. The design ethos embodies history and elegance, with every visual element telling Capesthorne's story.
The homepage features a full-width banner video, immersing users in the Capesthorne Hall experience with cinematic shots and aerial views. A hamburger menu allows easy navigation, while large imagery and gallery systems showcase the venue’s assets in neat layouts.

Capesthorne Hall hosts diverse events, from orchestras to commando challenges. We integrated an events management tool into their website, offering an easy-to-view layout of upcoming events with search functionality.

Enhancing their content reach

To boost Capesthorne Hall's brand and social media following, we integrated an Instagram feed onto the site. Additionally, a blog system was added to create keyword-rich content, driving more traffic to the website.

By integrating these elements, we enhanced Capesthorne Hall's online presence, making it easier for potential clients to discover and engage with their exquisite venue.

“From the start of our journey, gloversure have been fantastic. The moment we came across their work, we knew that they were the right company for us.
Wanting a complete brand refresh, including a new logo, new website, and two brochures, our brief was not easy. However, gloversure were brilliant with the whole process. Every detail was worked on thoroughly, and if there were ever extra details and changes that we wanted, they were always quick to adapt as well as giving us professional advice for decisions that could have adverse impact.
The design team did an amazing job with our new branding producing exactly what we had imagined and beyond. And now having just launched our new website, the feedback has been fantastic, and we are so excited to show off our new look.
We would recommend gloversure to anyone wanting a brand refresh or a new website!”
