An online store to showcase the unique, sustainable and affordable staircases, designed and manufactured by Pear Stairs.
With over 100 years’ experience, Pear Stairs are experts in the manufacture of stairs and stair parts, including bespoke glass and curved staircases. Working with the very best designers, craftsmen and technology, they are able to create bespoke stairs to suit every customer’s unique requirements.
We were approached by Pear Stairs to refresh their existing, dated Magento store with a brand new eCommerce site. Not only did the new site need to be easy to manage and maintain but it also required a fresh new custom design that clearly promoted the product range available. Pear Stairs also requested an integrated blog, as well as a platform to showcase a large number of case studies.

The resulting Magento store provides visitors with a visually stimulating and easy to navigate online experience. In addition, the new site has a simple management system for the Pear Stairs team to maintain. The custom design incorporates a range of features and additional functionality including an integrated blog, a comprehensive portfolio of their work and secure checkout with both SagePay and PayPal payment gateways. To further enhance their customer service, a dedicated ‘Help and Resources’ section was incorporated into the site, providing plenty of space to include useful guides, detailed explanations and images to further enhance customer experience. The scalable construction of the site means that the team at Pear Stairs can upload thousands of products such as staircases and handrail spare parts, as well as their product brochures and helpful resources.
