Branding, Logo, and Holiday Park Web Design for Rhyd-y-Groes
Nestled on the verdant slopes of Powys, Rhyd-y-Groes is a five-star touring caravan park. This family-run business, hidden between tree lines, is committed to preserving the natural beauty of its park. Their dedication to planting diverse trees, shrubs, and herbaceous borders creates a quaint, peaceful space for guests to relax and enjoy Mid-Wales. Equipped with quality amenities, Rhyd-y-Groes offers an escape from urbanity while being a perfect base to explore Mid-Wales's attractions.
Since 2013, Rhyd-y-Groes has collaborated with us, experiencing substantial growth over the past decade. Reflecting on our first website design for them feels nostalgic. As design trends evolved, so did we, elevating our standards. Recently, Rhyd-y-Groes reached out for a fresh, contemporary holiday park web design.
Rhyd-y-Groes Touring Caravan Park

Historically-Inspired Traditional Logo Design
Before developing the website, we embarked on a complete rebrand for Rhyd-y-Groes. The park's historical connection to the Arthurian Circuit, where King Arthur’s last battle is believed to have occurred, inspired us. We crafted a traditional ‘R y G’ logo using a classic typeface within a sleek, fine-lined box. This design reinforces Rhyd-y-Groes's image as a trustworthy, credible business. Additionally, we created a second logo variation with a contrasting font, blending traditional and contemporary styles to appeal to modern tourists while honouring the park's roots.

Captivating Website Visitors Instantly
Following the traditional-modern blend of the logo, we designed a clean, contemporary website for Rhyd-y-Groes. A full-width hero banner video on the homepage showcases stunning visuals of the park and surrounding areas, instantly attracting guests.
Showcasing Their Social Media Content
We integrated the Rhyd-y-Groes website with an Instagram feed, allowing visitors to view the latest social content. This integration helps grow their social platform as guests can easily follow their account.
Services & Technology
For Rhyd-y-Groes, we provided a full-service branding and web design solution, combining traditional design elements with modern digital functionality. Our services included a complete logo redesign, brand refresh, and bespoke holiday park website design focused on user experience (UX) and visual storytelling. Technically, the website was built with a responsive, mobile-first framework, ensuring seamless performance across devices.

Packed with Engaging Animation
Our sleek holiday park web design features elegant animations. Images dynamically slide, fade, and enlarge, creating an engaging experience. Call-to-actions are animated with sliding underlining effects and circled arrows on hover, emphasising buttons like ‘Find Out More’ and encouraging clicks.

Implementing a Frosted Glass Banner
The top banner, initially underlined with a fine white line, transitions into a frosted glass-styled banner as visitors scroll. This modern design trend adds subtle depth, allowing background content to peek through.
Engaging Structure & Modula Gallery Integration
Rhyd-y-Groes's deep-blue and white-themed website prioritises user experience (UX). We structured the pages to intuitively guide users through the customer journey. Each content block includes subheadings, large eye-catching headings, brief text areas, and stunning imagery. The Modula gallery integration allows showcasing the park through various image layouts, from sliding galleries to column arrangements. A hamburger menu in the top right corner ensures easy navigation.
Embodying Their Nature-Led Character
To further reinforce Rhyd-y-Groes's identity as a luxury touring park surrounded by nature, we embedded light grey tree branches behind images and text. These subtle elements add depth and character, emphasising their nature-centric ethos.
By combining historical inspiration, modern design trends, and intuitive UX, we created a captivating holiday park web design for Rhyd-y-Groes, enhancing their online presence and guest experience.
