Pear Stairs part of the Boys & Boden group, are Britain’s biggest direct-to-end-user supplier and manufacturer of stairs and stair parts, they pride themselves on being one of the leading stair designers in the UK, offering high quality and bespoke designs at very competitive prices.
To stay competitive Pear Stairs wanted a bespoke software feature on their website to allow users to design and cost their own staircase. The StairCreator needed to have multiple options to allow users to get into the design of the stair and choose all of the custom features they would like to compliment their home. The StairCreator needed to capture this information, sharing it with the Pear Stairs customer service team to review and send a formal quote.

Our solution allows users to design and price a custom staircase in 3D from their browser in minutes. The user can input the exact dimensions for their design as well as selecting from a range of different styles and materials to customise the finished staircase. A large variety of styles are available, from a straight staircase with traditional ‘oxford’ fittings in sturdy oak to a grand winding design crafted from luxurious walnut. The system allows users to see how the new staircase will look in a 360-degree view and also intelligently works out how much the finished product will cost and displays it to you in real-time. The StairCreator captures the information, sharing it with the Pear Stairs customer team, allowing them to review the spec and send a formal quote to the customer.
