As global leaders in motion control technology, Control Techniques have been ahead of the game when it comes to customer-focused drive technology for over 40 years. By developing the first intelligent drive, Control Techniques solved one of the biggest problems in automation and have since gone from strength to strength within the drive technology industry.
Control Techniques contacted us about the creation of a brand new mobile app that would allow their drive owners to easily control their drives. The new app would replace their existing outdated system, whereby users only had access to a basic keyboard interface to control their drive.

The mobile app created by our developers is an intricately designed system which controls all information to and from the drive. The app is available for both IOS and Android and provides a significant improvement to the user experience of Control Techniques customers. With a custom design, the app is extremely user-friendly and enables users to connect to their drive via low energy bluetooth technology. This wireless connection combined with real time updates from the drive being instantly reflected on the app, makes controlling their drives even easier for Control Techniques customers. Users are also able to edit drive values in a number of ways, such as simple number entry with verbose validation, graphical toggles, buttons and multiple selects.
