Role Overview:

gloversure is an award-winning digital agency with offices in Welshpool, Powys and Chester, Cheshire that specialises in bespoke web development, custom development, app development and more.

As the Frontend Developer you will be working closely with a creative minded team. You’ll work on projects from start to finish crafting stunning websites, mobile apps and eCommerce experiences. You would be ideal for this position if you are positive about learning new technologies and methodologies. This role will give you exposure to the wider development team and project/account managers therefore there are plenty of people to learn from.

In terms of the clients you will work with, they’re all diverse in their own ways, from smal businesses to large scale enterprises, in the UK and internationally. This gives a huge scope to the sort of output your projects will produce meaning that no day is ever the same.

As the Frontend Developer, you will be working primarily on digital projects, working on the front end development of Magento eCommerce stores, WordPress, and WooCommerce.


The right developer will:

  • Have experience with HTML, CSS & Proficient in JavaScript
  • Understanding of PHP
  • Experience with mobile-first design
  • Be confident at communicating within a team and directly with clients (if you would like to).

The position provides the opportunity to work with brands and businesses to create innovative and exciting features, functionality and user experiences.

You will be expected to take the initiative in all of the projects you work on. In return, you’ll have the scope to put your own stamp on projects, helping to make a real impact on the growth of gloversure and our clients.

  • Collaborating with your fellow Developers, Designers, Project Managers and the wider team to build applications that leave a lasting impression on our clients.
  • Developing high-quality front end code for new and existing websites.
  • Ensuring our applications are accessible and performant.
  • Continually looking for and implementing ways of improving our development practices.
  • Staying up to date with new changes in technology and sharing your knowledge with others.
  • To be creative and innovative in the work that you perform.

  • Experience in Magento Front End Development
  • Experience in WordPress Front End Development

Examples of work or portfolio demonstrating any prototypes or projects developed would be an advantage.
