A web design and development firm has pledged to help Mid Wales companies to boost their business after opening a new office in Aberystwyth.
GloverSure moved into the premises on Aberystwyth University's Gogerddan Campus on Monday (5 June). The office is the fourth to open for the firm, which also has premises in Welshpool, Builth Wells and Chester and already has a large customer base in Aberystwyth and surrounding Mid Wales.
Richard Glover-Davies, Managing Director of GloverSure said the new office location will benefit existing customers and also enable the firm to help new customers transform their business.
"We have worked with clients from the Aberystwyth area for many years, so having an office here means we will be able to meet with them regularly and be responsive to their needs. In addition, we hope to attract some new clients from the area. By helping companies to develop their digital presence and creating professional and effective websites, mobile apps and custom software, we can help businesses to thrive and become more efficient.
"I graduated from Aberystwyth University before starting GloverSure 13 years ago, so this area is special to me and I'm looking forward to working within the business community here and having a positive impact. A lot of our developers are Aberystwyth graduates, so having a base here was a natural step for us. We also have an exciting Agri Tech mobile App that we will be launching soon which ties in well with having an office on the Innovation Campus which is tasked with developing the business community in bioscience and agri-tech."
Lewis Radcliffe, who will be managing the office, said he is excited about working in his home town.
"I was born and bred in the Aberystwyth area, so I can't wait to work with business people from the town. I have worked for GloverSure for three years at the Welshpool office so I have a good insight into the fantastic businesses we work with across Mid Wales, and I am looking forward to returning to my roots."
GloverSure has worked on projects for dozens of clients in the Aberystyth area, including Aberystwyth University, Hybu Cig Cymru, Marine Hotel, Cambrian Tyres, Aber Skip Hire and CB Enviromental.
Dr. Rhian Hayward, CEO of the Aberystwyth Innovation and Enterprise Campus said:
"We are very pleased to welcome GloverSure to the Aberystwyth Innovation and Enterprise Campus. As our first tenant and a rapidly growing business, they are founding members of a new professional community that will flourish alongside the £40.5m investment in the Campus facilities and activities. GloverSure has an excellent reputation and a broad client base – I am pleased that their activities extend into the agri-tech area and look forward to supporting them on their journey."
